This loincloth was woven, assembled, dyed and painted by hand in Ivory Coast. Upholstery made in France and made in Paris in the brand workshop.

A traditional West African textile, Bogolan is made of spun cotton strips. The latter, barely ten centimetres wide, are hand-stitched together to form large canvases that are then bathed in a bath of leaves of trees and tannin. A relatively complex process that requires several rinses in mud and water, then multiple sun-drying. This African fabric mostly displays neutral colours, such as white, black or ochre.
