The creators of Datcha, Amandine Furhmann and Mériadek Caraës, both trained in Plastic Arts and Art History, met more than ten years ago and have since then always worked together in the arts community. and Design. This long-standing project is the culmination of a common passion for craftsmanship, know-how and decoration.
"Fascinated by the richness of craftsmanship, its diversity and its many expressions, we wanted to explore these territories and nourish our creation. Each collection begins with the research and discovery of a production specific to a region, a material, a technique, colors which make the identity of a local heritage. From this meeting is born a continuous dialogue with the craftsmen, between know-how and contemporary requirement. Like them, we wish to preserve and to see continue these traditions. and this heritage passed down for generations. "
