Gabin sideboard 122cm light grey by Hartô

Hartô creation, Gabin is available in low buffet and cabinet. Inspired by retro windows, it stands out mainly by the original and elegant cane-inspired pattern that will easily fit into your living space. Sideboards, smaller than wardrobes but just as functional, have many advantages that we do not always suspect. This beautiful Gabin sideboard by Hartô, a French design brand, is no exception to the rule.

The Gabin sideboard, the perfect compromise between lightness and robustness

The Gabin sideboard is the second low sideboard model of the Hartô brand, after the Marius sideboard (also available on our site, in several colors). Designed in oak veneered MDF, metal and solid oak, this piece of furniture is the perfect compromise between elegance and durability.

MDF (medium density fibreboard, made from wood fibers) and its advantages are no longer presented. Lighter than raw wood, it is just as strong, without mimicking many materials, and is easy to repair, decorate and use. Reference in the field of aesthetics and interior design, MDF can easily be integrated into any type of decoration, whether it is of bohemian or seaside inspiration, or more sophisticated and contemporary.

Here, mixing MDF in natural tones with a metal decoration makes it possible to affirm the durability of the Gabin sideboard, without giving it a too heavy appearance. The performance metal sliding doors in their own way take up the patterns of canning, a method of weaving rattan cane, on a frame. Known to be an artistic discipline and a know-how in its own right, inherited from ancient times, caning is a long process allowing to obtain a natural and robust piece of furniture at the same time. Here, Hartô takes up this principle by leaving the natural dimension to MDF and raw oak, and by opting for a metal structure with a light appearance.

Aesthetic detail: the doors of the Gabin sideboard by Hartô reveal its contents, while slightly deforming the curves. This trompe-l'oeil then leaves a certain privacy to things and your organization, while allowing the decoration to be given a unique character. The ghostly and reassuring shapes, placed behind the metal doors inspired by the cane creations, give the whole a zen and uncluttered side, which invites contemplation and reverie.

Thanks to its design inspired by retro showcases, the Gabin sideboard by Hartô has that little vintage air that knows how to delight collectors and nostalgic alike. Also available in slate gray, this sideboard is available in several sizes and models, which allow you to vary the styles and uses according to your needs and desires.

A practical piece of furniture adapted to all your desires

Practical, the Gabin sideboard by Hartô is equipped with four cable guides. It can therefore perfectly play the role of a TV cabinet, accommodate video game consoles or combine uses. Placed in a living room near the sofas or armchairs, it can also become a small library, crowned with reading lamps or a small radio. The possibilities are endless, it's up to you to use your imagination to best optimize your living space with this piece of furniture.

The Gabin sideboard by Hartô also has 3 different fixing heights for its horizontal shelf. This choice of options allows you to ideally place the furniture, even in a corner of the room where the available space is limited. Whether you want to store decoration or a storage compartment, this feature also makes it flexible according to the uses you reserve for it.
