Valérie black metal low chair

For Marie Michielssen, creating furniture always begins with a series of sketches on paper. She constructs the volumes with mathematical precision. The proportions must be perfect and adapted to the human body. For the Valerie low chair, she started with an elliptical base to which she added two rectangular planes, the seat and the backrest forming a perfect angle to allow comfortable sitting. She chose lacquered steel so that Valérie could be used both outdoors and indoors. The seat cushion (sold separately) adds extra comfort. The fabric is woven and handcrafted in Belgium and was chosen by Marie for its tactile effect. Valerie is available in three colors: white, gray or dark green. The matching cushions are white or gray.
