This stool is formed from a single large piece of solid wood and due to the variations in wood grain each Shoemaker seat is unique. At the end of the process, each model is finished by hand before moving on to a three-step process of coloring or oiling surface treatment. The Form & Refine team have tirelessly optimized the chair from the early stages, adjusting minor aspects year after year .
