Grey knotted cushion pouffe by Design House Stockholm

The Knot seat cushion by Ragnheidur Sigursdottir is a whimsical shape inspired by knotmaking, knitting and the exploration of sculptural forms rather than ordinary patterns. It certainly works as a seat cushion, but it's also a work of art. You can lean on it, sit on it, relax on it, and it breaks down hierarchies in conversation.

It's a new type of seating that adapts to everyone, young and old, offering the possibility of sitting at the same level as toddlers. Both inclusive and relaxed. It's also suitable for yoga, one of Ragnheidur's favorite personal uses.

"You don't really know what it is at first glance, it offers an opportunity to use your imagination! It's partly influenced by pop art, looking like a sculpture, but a functional one. That's what design should be: playful, comfortable, well-built and capable of making you smile."
